17/02/2012. Supporters meeting presented by Julian Smith MP & Chris Heaton-Harris (MP for Daventry and leader of the House of Commons anti-wind farm lobby group). We certainly have some big guns on our side. A totally packed village hall at Wath, attended by locals, leaders of other anti-wind campaign groups and our County Councillors. The messages were very clear from those who truly know Volkswind; they cannot be trusted in what they say and their tactics include ‘sitting-on’ projects like ours for up to five years in order to strike when least expected and when defences are down. Even on Facebook one of their senior directors arrogantly illustrates Volkswind’s sheer contempt for people like the residents of Melmerby, Wath and Hutton Conyers. Don’t let them fool you and don’t let them get away with it!!. Watch this page for more information on the meeting.
